The story amazingly explains the love between father and small kid.

Vikram has played his role wonderfully and has once again proved his best acting talents.

The kid Sara is cute and smart and has played a very lovely role.Infact, the kid has not acted.The kid has lived in the role of Nila. Such an amazing performance. The kid is sure to receive lot of awards for the best performance.

Music by G.V.Prakash is pleasing and blends well along with the story line.Santhanam, as usual makes us enjoy the humor well. Anushka plays her role well as a lawyer. The scenes involving the kid Sara and the school correspondent Amala paul are very cute.

A good story line, beautifully edited and scripted.I could see almost all of them who watched this movie getting tears towards the end. Kudos to the entire team for a feel good movie.

A must watch movie.

The Kalka Mail Derailed

The Kalka Mail – train between Delhi and Howrah derailed near Fatehpur Railway station in Uttar Pradesh around 12.20 pm yesterday (10/7/2011). The train was travelling at a speed of 108km/hr when the derailment happened and 13 bogies were thrown off the tracks. Death toll raises to over 60 and many more are injured. The State Minister for Railways has announced a compensation of Rs.5lakh for the family of the deceased and Rs.1lakh and Rs.25000 for major and minor injuries. The rescue work is still on and Army has joined the Rescue Operations. Many trains in this route still remain cancelled.

Guwahati- Puri Express Accident

There was a train accident yesterday (10/7/2011) in Assam. Four bogies of the Guwahati- Puri Express derailed in Assam’s Rangia District. Most of the passengers in the train were pilgrims travelling to Puri. From various sources, at least 1000 passengers are said to be injured and many more are expected to be trapped inside. Treatment is being given for the injured in Rangia hospital. This train derailment happened just a few hours after the Kalka express derailed in Uttar Pradesh.

I got this text message from India against Corruption movement today evening. After that only I came to know that Anna is going to fast again on June 8^th near Raj Bhavan, New Delhi. I was literally surprised first as soon as seeing this message. The reason is, I trusted my Indian Government. Yes, from heart I trusted my country’s government and I really hoped that they will take steps against corruption after Anna Hazare’s first hunger strike stint and Baba Ramdev’s fasting.

After the midnight crackdown of Ramdev’s fast Anna hazare had raised his concerns towards Indian Democracy and the government’s inhuman behavior. Anna also added that he and other members of Lokpal drafting panel will boycott June 6 meeting with government. He also warned the government that if it does not take a lesson, a bigger agitation will be launched.

"What the government has done is a blot on democracy. There was no need for the Government to supress this movement and attack those protesting at midnight. It was not right to lathicharge the people at midnight Small children and women were brutally assaulted. The entire country should stand up as one and protest against this brutal and inhuman action," said Hazare.

So, the result is Anna Hazare is going to launch his hunger strike battle against corruption tomorrow (June 8) at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. This time much more people are expected to support Anna Hazare than the number of people supported for his previous hunger strike for the cause. I hope at least this time a solution will be born for drafting the Lokpal Bill. After all this is every ordinary Indian’s dream.

After several rounds of rumour about this match, the official confirmation came on Monday when Celebrity Management Group along with the state government, All India Football Federation and Indian Football Association announced this surprise at a press conference.

"The Argentina Football Association had indeed signed a contract to bring in the full-strength squad including Messi and Carlos Tevez among others. So the contract guarantees their participation," said Bhaswar Goswami of CMG. The city-based sports management firm that had earlier brought football legend Diego Maradona in 2008 would also organise another international friendly match between Argentina and Nigeria in Dhaka on September 6.

"We were given the match in condition that we have to buy another. We did not think twice and bought both the matches just to make Messi play in Kolkata," Goswami said. The Barcelona star forward and winner of the FIFA Ballon d'Or award was recently instrumental in his club's Champions League win.

Briefing about the itinerary, Goswami said Messi and Co. would stay here for four days, beginning August 30. "We are also planning several other events which will be announced later. We are thinking of a minimum ticket price of Rs 1000 (approx $20), a nominal price comparing to the ticket prices in other international friendlies."

"Those who could not afford to make the match, we would give them another chance for both the teams practice sessions the tickets of which would be at a cheaper price," Goswami added. West Bengal sports minister Madan Mitra said he is getting full support from the chief minister to clean up the 'mess' in the stadium where Messi is going to play.

"The stadium is completely in a mess. The garbage there has been piled up for 34 years. We are leaving no stone unturned to make the stadium international match-worthy," he said.

"It's difficult to give YBK a complete facelift in such a short period. Our list of priorities includes better toilets, changing rooms and passage ways. We will also bring a generator from a Chennai firm to avoid the frequent blackouts in the stadium," Mitra said.

All India Football Federation vice-president Subrata Dutta said that the match would be a turning point in India's football history. "This would inspire others to organise more such matches. It's going to be a historical day," Dutta said.

In the same vein, IFA secretary Utpal Ganguli said, "I don't think it would improve our standard of the game but surely it would popularise the sport. I am sure it would help more and more people turning away from EPL and other leagues (IPL)". The match is scheduled to begin from 7pm.

Ramdev Baba’s Hunger Strike was cracked down by Police at Midnight

He would not have thought this would be coming for him. He and his followers would have thought that the government will finally say a big YES for the points which Ramdev Baba had listed before the hunger strike. This belief was shattered at Sunday 06-05-11 midnight by a police force that went for a raid to the Ramlila ground where Ramdev Baba and his followers were holding hunger strike.

Adding to the surprise, police did not use words to remove baba from the place. Instead they used lathis and tear gas to remove the crowd from the Ramlila ground. To my knowledge these rude methods will be used only when there are possibilities of violence by angry mob. In the case of Baba he was not doing anything violently. He projected a list of action items in front of the government and he started his hunger strike to make the government implement those action items. Then why the police reacted in such a way and treated baba and others like a violent anti-social group?

I am reframing the above bolded sentence, He projected a list of action items in front of the government and he started his hunger strike to blackmail and make the government implement those action items.

Just imagine, if the government accepts for the all the action items which baba had projected. Will this stop at that point? Definitely the answer will be a big NO. The reason is very simple; people will start to think that hunger strike is a weapon that the government fears off. When this thought comes to people then not only these Babas, even a common man will start to use this weapon and will try to frighten the government to get their problems solved.

Let us see another perspective of this problem. Yesterday government had agreed to declare black money held by every Indian as national wealth. Is this possible? A basic question arises inside my head. My grey matter which is frequently referred as brain tells NO as the answer for that question. It does not stop by juts telling no, it also gives valid points to support that answer. The supporting points are:

1. Black Money is something that is hidden from the accounts that we submit to government. In this case how government can find out that black money first?
2. On a positive note, this is not an ordinary government. This is the government that should worry about more than 120 crore people. So, it will definitely have the ability and enough force to identify all the black money hidden inside and outside India. In this case, why hadn’t they done that before somebody like baba Ramdev becomes ready to put their life in front of this cause in the name of hunger strike?
3. Let us again trust the efficiency of our Indian government and shall believe that they will pass this act of declaring all the black money as India’s wealth. Will that act serve its real purpose or will be an eye wash for hunger strikes? This question arises because as you all know most politicians will be involved in the black money stuffs. A rule maker could become a rule breaker here.

These were a few questions that dropped out of my grey matter with respect to this Baba fasting. Anyways, in a democratic country the incidents that took place to baba should not be happening.

Last question from my grey matter with respect to this incident.

When somebody is protesting against you, will you do anything against them publicly?

Surely nobody will do that. The reason is, those actions which we take against the protestor publicly will make them strong and add value to their cause.

Do you think an all India political party Congress would not have known these basics that too in a situation when BJP started to support Ramdev Baba?

Clark III sentenced to 44 years of Jail in Annie Le Murder

The murder of Annie Le occurred September 8, 2009, on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Annie Marie Le a 24-year-old American doctoral student at the Yale School of Medicine's Department of Pharmacology, was found missing from September 8. She was last seen before entering the research lab September 8. She was captured by the surveillance camera before entering his work area.

To add more to the sorrow, September 13 was the date that was fixed for her marriage but her dead body was also found on the same date inside the building. The Yale Daily News reported that professor and Cold War historian John Lewis Gaddis called September 14 the "saddest day to open class" since the day after September 11, 2001. News of the tragedy went worldwide, and expressions of sympathy were common, culminating in memorials held in New York and California, and the live broadcast of Annie Le's funeral on the internet. The Yale community also publicly mourned Le's death. On September 17, police arrested a suspect, Raymond J. Clark, III, a Yale lab technician who worked in the building. But, Clark was released after collecting DNA sample from him.

With the DNA matching Clark was taken under the police custody and he was held at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, Connecticut, a maximum security prison, on $3 million bail. Initially Clark pleaded against guilty on March 17, 2011. He was produced to lie detector test and Clark failed in the test.

Clark was now sentence to 44 years of imprisonment after proved guilty. The verdict was issued on June 3 2011. The Connecticut medical examiner's autopsy found that Le's death was due to "traumatic asphyxia due to neck compression".

Apps can be developed even for the latest iPhone4 and iPad 2 also using the same environment and Object C language. The interesting thing to note here is with every new release of sdk and tools from Apple, more additional features and components are supported and added.

Apple has recently released the xcode4 version which has many interesting and developer friendly features which eases much of the task of the developer.

While creating any new project using this xcode, there is an option of specifying whether the target environment is for iPhone, iPad or both. Accordingly, the UI components can be created and added. An important thing to be taken care of while developing apps for iPad is to present a more attractive UI with bigger screens since the screen size of the iPad is bigger when compared to the iPhone.

Also, much of the UI components can be added using Interface Builder which has many pre- defined UI components starting from text field, labels, Image Views to add images, buttons, table views and extending up to a pre defined Map Kit. All these components can be easily integrated and used in our apps with the required functionality.

If we could see in many or most of the apps in iPhone, a very attractive UI is available. With such user friendly User interfaces and many kinds of Touch functionality provided by Apple, I am sure the Dev Environment will be surely be exciting and interesting.

Actor Superstar Rajnikanth underwent third dialysis yesterday. According to the sources he is responding well for the treatment. The doctors in Singapore are dialysis him third time for his kidney problems. The results are being analysed and the treatment will be finalised based on the reports.

Petroleum Price hike in India

Petroleum prices are going to be hiked again. The new price will be effective from tomorrow (01/06/2011). This is the second hike that is going to be in effect with the price of petrol in a month's gap. According to source the rise in petrol prices would at least be a minimum of Rs. 1.60/litre. However the official increase price hike has not been announced yet. The official petrol price/litre is greater than Rs.67 till today in chennai.

When i was discussing the same to my colleagues they told me not be surprised if the petrol prices shoot up to Rs. 100/litre within a couple of months. Even they are thinking to sell of their luxury vehicles like Bike and Petrol cars and thinking about using the public transports for their daily commutation. Let's assume this scenario happens at least with 25% of lower and upper middle class people after this new petrol price hike. Does government has enough transportation resources to accommodate the increased commuters? Even now, the trains and buses are transporting a tightly packed crowd during the peak hours. Are there any plans with the government if this number increases?

Let us assume that government would implement some action plans based on the increase in commuters. The government buses will also run in same fuels only, rite? So, increase in the number of transport sources will lead to increase in the consumption of fuel which will in turn will force the government to increase in the public transport ticketing prices. Now, who is going to pay for the increase in the prices?

Gujarat Higher Secondary general stream results today

The pass fail result system has been removed and the students performance are judged based on Grading system. UPSEE Results Published!! Whopping 90.47% make it to MBA

The results of state entrance examinations ( SEE-2011) for admissions to colleges affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) were declared on yesterday (Wednesday). Out of 22,918 candidates who appeared for MBA, 20,736 students cleared the exam increasing the pass percentage up to a peaking 90.47%.

The official news states that this is the highest pass percentage till date of all the subjects offered by the university. Mohd Amir, a resident of Shahjahanpur is the person who topped the chart. In BTech, out of 1,72,426 students who attempted the exam, only 82,197 could pass.

Pratibha Prajapati from Kanpur topped the list with highest marks. The course saw a pass percentage of 47.67%. The pass percentage of 12.39% was found to be least in BPharma. Of 32,343 students who took the exam, only 4,008 could qualify. The best performance was given by Shivang Shekar, a native of Gorakhpur.

In the BArch, out of 11,973 candidates who took the exam, 8,188 could clear the exam. The pass percentage for the course stood at 68.38%. The student who scored the highest marks in the course was Mitali Gupta of Meerut. For 13,906 candidates having appeared for MCA, only 4,393 could qualify. The pass percentage for the course stood at 31.95%. Lalu Prajapati from Auraiyya, scored the highest marks .

Case filed against Sachin, Sania Mirza and Mandhira for Disrespecting Indian Tricolor Flag

A case was filed against Sachin Tendulkar, Sania Mirza and Mandhira Bedi for disrespecting our Indian nation's Tricolor flag. Mr. Stalin of Madurai Melur filed this case against these celebs in Madurai sessions court.

According to Stalin, "Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his birthday in Capetown by cutting a Cake which had tricolor flag printed on it, Mandhira Bedi wore a Saree containing Tricolor during one of her TV campaignings and Sani Mirza wore slippers in Tri Colour during a function. All these events were telecasted in Media all over India. When i filed a complaint against Sachin, Mandhira and Sania to the Commissioner of Madurai, he refused to log the complaint. So, i have filed a case against these celebrities and have requested the court to take necessary actions on them for disrespecting our National Flag."

Interesting right? Personally i feel that these people not just celebrities, they are considered as national icons in their respective professions. So they should not involve in any practise that hurts the patriotism of an ordinary human being. Wearing a tricolor Saree is one of the patriotic expressions that is in practise for many years from the initial days of our freedom struggle. But, wearing tricolor sandals and cutting a cake with tricolor flag on it is something which will easily hurt the patriotism of a common man. Moreover they are worshiped as role models by millions of people across India. These kind of acts will show them as bad examples to their followers.

These are my personal opinions and not intented to hurt any one's feelings.

The dooms day or judgement day prediction by Harold Camping will be proved to be true or false in few hours.
According to the prediction, the dooms day apocalypse will begin with a massive earth quake in New Zealand and it will doom the whole world. It was also predicted that this destruction will be in the order of sun light receiving nations in every new day's start. New Zealand being the first country to start every new day, the apocalypse will also emerge from New Zealand.
According to Harold Camping’s calculation based from “hidden” numbers and text from the scriptures, the end of the world will start with a massive and destructive earthquake in New Zealand.
"Seven thousand years after 4990 B.C. (the year of the Flood) is the year 2011 A.D. (our calendar)," he says in his website. "4990 + 2011 – 1 = 7,000," he calculates. "One year must be subtracted in going from an Old Testament B.C. calendar date to a New Testament A.D. calendar date because the calendar does not have a year zero."

And here's how he arrived exactly at the date: 'Amazingly, May 21, 2011 is the 17th day of the 2nd month of the Biblical calendar of our day. Remember, the flood waters also began on the 17th day of the 2nd month, in the year 4990 B.C."

Camping made a previous “prediction” way back in 1994 about a judgement day coming but none of his predictions actually came true.
It seems people from various part of the world is believing this dooms day. Many of the believers are posting their dooms day beliefs in many social networking sites.

Few dooms day comments from social sphere:
"It's Doomsday, Doomsday, all gonna die on Doomsday. Everybody's gettin' ready for the Judgment," tweeted TheTweetOfGod.

Interestingly, according to a survey in New Zealand 79% of the people are not believing the dooms day.

In chennai, a city in India we were not even aware of this dooms day and none of us were discussing about it.

May 21 - End of the world

Is May 21st the final day of the earth?

It is 11:00 PM in India, chennai. After i read about this topic and when i started to type this post it started to rain heavily with fierce winds blowing from the south and loud thunders. Some part inside my head started to believe on THE END and i started to type further. The main reason for belief is the sudden unusual climatic change in this hot summer. I may look like a coward or pessimist, just imagine from my situation and you people also will look like the same. Even now i saw a bright lightning hitting the ground hard.

Will this be the start of an end?

I will surely write the answer if the information in this post goes false (Even i am hoping for the same :) )

If you believe a fringe Christian radio group, then you’ve got a little more than 15 hours to either party it up, or repent for your sins. Because according to the “Family Radio” network, 6 p.m. Saturday will be when the “rapture” begins and the end of days begins.

There have been billboards across the Sunshine State for months proclaiming the rapture is near. CBS4’s Jorge Estevez profiled the billboards when they first started popping up earlier this year.

But what exactly are the billboards referring to about the rapture? Well, the Family Radio network’s founder, 89-year-old Harold Camping, said Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. will be when the rapture of the church takes place.

The rapture of the church is a relatively new idea in the realm of Christianity. It refers to the time when Christians believe that Jesus will take the faithful to heaven ahead of the calamity and destruction that lies ahead in the tribulations from the book of Revelation.

It’s drawn from passages in the bible including I Thessalonians 4:17 which states, “After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

This would follow Jesus raising the souls of Christians who had already died over the millenniums.

The idea of the rapture picked up steam in the United States during the middle and late 19th Century with a school of theological thought called Dispensationalism. The movement was led by John Nelson Darby, who preached about a concept of the rapture happening at any moment, among other things.

"Dispensationalism" would go on to be the basis for vast parts of Christian theology in the United States for decades.

This brings you back to the idea that Camping, a civil engineer, has managed to convince thousands of people the beginning of the apocalypse is near and the rapture will happen Saturday evening.

So how did Camping come up with his dire prediction?
He based his theory for the rapture and second coming of Jesus on two Bible passages. The first is in second book of Peter in the New Testament.

Camping said the 2 Peter passage says that “One day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years is one day.” By his deduction, Camping implies this to mean 7,000 years from the great flood will be the end of the world.

He also cites the book of Genesis. Camping said Genesis states, the flood began on the “17th day of the second month.” In his interpretation of the Jewish calendar, that date is May 21.

Combining the two, Camping has come up with Saturday as the date of the apocalypse. And what will happen precisely as 6:00 p.m., well, Camping said great earthquakes will be felt to start the apocalypse.

But don’t start worrying about not knowing if the Heat can beat the Bulls, or what the final episodes of Oprah will look like on television. Camping also predicted the world would end in 1994, which only happened for hard-core Nirvana fans.

And if you think you’ve heard stories like this before, you have. The most famous was from William Miller who founded the so-called Millerite movement. Miller predicted the world would end in 1843.

After the first time period he called for the end of world was nearing an end, Miller would go on to correct his time period to October 22, 1844. But on October 23, 1844, the previous day turned into the “Great Disappointment” for Millerites; and Miller’s movement lost credibility and steam after that.

So, if you believe the prediction from Camping and are planning on attending the Exxxotica convention, catching some rays on South Beach, or getting in a couple rounds of golf, you might want to do it before Saturday evening when Camping’s forecast calls for cloudy with a chance of rapture.

US pop singer Lady Gaga is now in top spot in Forbes magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list, knocking of mogul Oprah Winfrey.
The pop star with beautiful hats - real name Stefani Germanotta - moved four positions up from last year to knock Winfrey, 2010's chart-topper, down to two.
Gaga's ranking comprises of her earnings over the past 12 months - an estimated $90m (£55.6m).
The ranking is also based on her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers.

Balasubramaniam. We have already enjoyed various introduction songs of superstar in SPB's voice in the past and this will also be a mass hit. Moreover, SPB is the lucky charm for Rajnikanth when it comes to Introduction songs. Two movies of Rajnikanth which did not turn out successfully are Baba and Kuselan in the recent past and in those movies the introduction songs were not sung by SPB. So, with SPB singing Raana's intro song the movie is expected to be a huge hit.
